Using Color
In printing, color can communicate in many ways. It can organize your information. it can draw attention to specific areas or add
variety to a lengthy piece of information.
We use what is known as a pantone guide to achieve the chosen colors of
a certain job. This guide specifies the formula needed to achieve the exact color specified for a particular job. If needed, our printers can even invent a
new color just for you and keep that mixture on file. However, one thing to remember is that the printer can only approximate the colors you select.
Despite your printer's expertise, some variations will occur due to the paper, ink, press and other factors. But with a firm grasp of color theory, we can help you
prepare your printed piece in a manner that will best present your communication objectives.
Single Color
Using a single color is the most cost effective way to achieve your finished product.
Second Color
Adding a second color to your design may cost a little more, but the return is worth it. For only a slight cost difference you'll more than double the options you have for a colorful design. Adding
multiple colors will draw more attention to your finished piece.
